Bataleon Love Powder 2023

The 2023 Bataleon Love Powder is a female specific freeride masterpiece. Do you love powder? Of course you do, and you’ll love this board. The Love Powder craves deep days, and the Pow 3BT shape will give you effortless float in the nose and power in your tail to really slash apart stashes and surf the snow like never before. When all the powders gone, take the Love Powder to the groomers and it’ll carve up a storm and speed down the slopes, with the 3BT giving your turns a more natural and catch-free feeling without losing any response or stability. For a powder board that doesn’t have to go back in the bag when the powder’s all tracked out, begin your love affair with Bataleon.

Bataleon recommend you ride this board up to 5cm shorter than your standard all mountain board.

Board Type: Powder / All Mountain Freeride

Camber Type: Low Camber

All 3BT boards have a positive camber profile but vary in the degree of camber and uplift across the width of the board. The Love Powder has a Low Camber profile, which allows it to flex and float easier.

Flex: 4/10 (1 = soft, 10 = stiff)

A mid flex for stability at speed, responsive turns, and powerful pop.

Shape: Directional 3BT

This board has a longer, wider nose combined with a shorter, narrower tail, as well as more uplift in the nose which provides effortless float facing forwards. The centrebase width is at the most narrow and uplift is the highest in at the nose creating unparalleled float in powder and fast edge transition.

Sidekick

Sidekick dramatically increases the amount of uplift just outside the widest points of the nose and tail. This makes turn initiation smoother, enhances float, and improves handling in rough terrain.

Core: Core Core

The Core Core features full poplar with hardwood beech stringers to strengthen the boards backbone, reinforce the inserts and increase pop. 

Biax Laminate – A time-tested two way weave that keeps the board light, strong, and snappy, without increasing torsional stiffness.

Shock Walls – Urethane-infused sidewall technology. Shock Walls smooth out your ride and are more resistant to scratches.

Base: Hyper Glide S

The Hyper Glide S base is the standard sintered base from Bataleon. Tough and fast, and even faster when you keep it waxed.
